Join the Sacred Roots Community for our annual apple-picking event! This year we’ll be in our neighboring state at Radke Orchards in Michigan City, Indiana on Sunday, October 9th.
Per the event’s program we will be meeting first at the Islamic Center of Michigan City at 12:30pm CDT to join our sister community for Dhuhr salah. Following salah, we will head over to Radke Orchards and meet at the picnic tables by the parking lot.
There are no parking or admission fees at the orchard. Radke Orchards recommends bringing a reusable bag to collect apples.
Apples you pick at the orchard will be $1.50 per pound per the orchard’s website.
