Contemplating the Divine - A Course on Islamic Theology 6 - Prophecy

Sacred Roots will run an introductory Theology (kalām) course led by Shaykh Trenton Carl running through Summer 2024, exploring core religious concepts through the lens of Allāmah al-Hilli's al-Bāb al-Hādi ’Ashar

There will be a total of 8 classes. Each class will have a selection of reading to be read prior to meeting. The class will focus on discussion and expansion of the reading material.

Classes will be approximately 90 minutes. They will take place in-person at Sacred Roots (1758 W 21st Pl, Chicago, IL 60608) and via Zoom for those outside of Chicago.

Class 5 - August 6th (Allah's Justice)

Class 6 - August 20th (Prophecy)

Class 7 - September 10th (The Imamate)

Class 8 - September 24th (The Return)

Content will be taught at a foundational level and all audiences are welcome to join!
