We invite you to join us in person for an English engagement with Duʿāʾ Kumayl followed by The Prophetic Legacy lecture. This month’s reflections, Prophetic Poverty and Spiritual Vision, will focus on Prophet’s sense of neediness of the Divine and its importance in his spiritual vision.
Afterward we spend time catching up over light snacks and tea.

The Prayer of Kumayl is attributed to Imam Ali (‘a) as taught to his disciple Kumayl ibn Ziyad al-Nakha’i.
The prayer paints a picture of God’s Majesty and inspires the reader to seek God’s immeasurable mercy and to live a life in humility before the Divine.
The Prophetic Legacy is a regular series of reflections focused on the lives and spiritual wisdom of the Prophet (s) and his purified family (‘a).
