Moving Pictures Film Club: Dirty Wars

Register Here

Join us on Tuesday, September 7th at 7:45 pm CDT to reflect on and discuss Jeremy Scahill’s Dirty Wars.

As we watch events unfold following the US Military exit of Afghanistan we want to use this film to expand our understanding of the “War on Terror” and to discuss strategies for meaningfully engaging as an ethical community.

“Is there a Muslim anti-war movement?”

View the film prior to our meeting on Amazon or Youtube.

Film Synopsis:

A spiritual successor to his New York Times bestselling book Blackwater, investigative reporter Jeremy Scahill's film Dirty Wars chronicles the undeclared "shadow wars" fought across the globe in the name of American national security—and the highly secretive agencies who fight them.
