Between Tyranny & The Sacred - How Religion Loses its Edge

The movement of Husayn ibn ʿAli aimed to raise humankind from the shadows of tyranny into the Light of the Sacred. He rose to revive the wholeness the Prophetic Message at a time when spiritual and governmental corruption sought to blunt the edge of religion. The “Edge of Religion” is its penetrating critique of humankind’s obsession with the material world and its audacity to propose a path toward a just world.

This series will

  1. examine contemporary challenges to living Islam’s moral message holistically
