Resolute Resistance: Palestine, Hope, and the Mechanisms of Domination

RSVP for Brunch

Join us with special guest Shirien D. to discuss the current state of activism for justice in Palestine. We’ll explore several issues, including the origins of the colonization of Palestine, the mechanisms that sustain Israel’s domination, and the ways that Palestinians and people of conscience can stand for liberation.

We recommend that you watch the new film now on Netflix entitled Farha prior to the event. It depicts the horrors of the Nakbah - the destruction of Palestinian society in 1948.

Schedule:

  • 10:30 AM - Brunch

  • 11:30 AM - Prayer

  • 11:45 AM - Discussion with Shirien D.
