SRSC Chai Chat: Mental Health in Islamic Communities

  • Sacred Roots Muslim Community 1758 West 21st Place Chicago, IL, 60608 United States (map)

Students! Join the Sacred Roots Student Collective Chai Chat to join an open and honest conversation regarding how mental health is perceived and dealt with in Muslim communities, and the implications it can have for us now and in the future.

How can we use this discussion to shape the way we understand mental health for our future families and communities?

We’ll begin with prayer, move into the conversation, and finish out with dinner by our very own: Chef Kazim.

This is our first in-person event at Sacred Roots’ new space at 1758 W. 21st Place, Chicago, IL 60608!

Street parking is available in the neighborhood as well as a block away on Cermak.

Please mask up and we’ll see you then!
