وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

…and so that you magnify Allah for guiding you, and that you may give thanks

Sacred Roots will host it’s first ʿĪd Prayer for ʿĪd al-Fiṭr 2024 followed by a community brunch. 10:00 a.m.

Join us for the ʿĪd Prayer, the two ʿĪd Sermons, and brunch with the community as we have a celebration for the end of Ramadan and we offer prayers of thanks to God for the blessings and opportunities the days and nights of Ramaḍān provided us.

Zakāt al-Fiṭrah is required for all mature adults who have or make the means for their annual needs. It is also required for them to pay on behalf of their dependents. It should be paid before the prayer for those at the prayer; if you are not attending an ʿĪd prayer then it is required to pay before the time for Noon (Ẓuhr) Prayer.

The amount is determined to be at $15.00 (minimum) per person (individual and all dependents in their household) this year. Please distinguish a Sayyid giver from a non-Sayyid giver on an envelope so we may distribute it correctly.
