Join us for a Chai Chat and Film Friday October 20th.
The Sacred Roots Community invites you all to a film screening of Occupation 101. This film is a documentary on the historical root causes of the Israeli occupation of Palestine and U.S. political involvement.
The film will be followed by a Chai Chat which is led by the Sacred Root Student Collective. The topic will be “Decolonizing Palestine: Journey of Liberation”. We will discuss the start of settler colonialism in Palestine and the continued systemic oppression of Palestinians. We will also learn about the sustained efforts of Palestinians as they actively work towards a decolonized state.
