Convergence - A Convert Gathering

Apply - You will hear back from our team after the application is received and reviewed. Registration closes October 13th.

Convergence is an annual gathering for converts to Islam who follow the teachings of the Family of the Prophet—the Ahl al-Bayt. This includes new Muslims, veteran converts, and legacy Muslims who later adopted the teachings of the Family of the Prophet.

Convergence 2023 is a three-day gathering focused on building a strong community of “converts” across Chicago, the Midwest, and the nation. The schedule will center reflection, learning, and socializing through interactive discussions, lectures, prayer, and sharing meals. A schedule, topic details, and a final list of presenters will be provided soon.

There is no fee for the conference, but attendees will be responsible for their travel and lodging. Our team will be in touch with applicants about lodging details to gauge interest in grouping attendees together and sharing costs. If you have a financial hurdle, please reach out to trenton@sacredrootscommunity.org

Space is limited, and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

For more information please e-mail: trenton@sacredrootscommunity.org and add “Convergence” in the e-mail title.
